Portabilizer 1.0 is a free program that creates launchers for portable applications.
This way, you will be able to create a portable application using the generated launcher, with a customized icon and with the parameters you like to use.
The interface of the program will guide you through the entire process.
The first thing you´ll have to do is to enter the name you want to give to the target application.
Then you will have to enter the full path where the target file is located.
Next, you can enter the parameters that the application will need to work, if any.
To identify the launcher, Portabilizer will ask you to enter the path with the icon file.
Finally, you will have to indicate the output folder where the resulting files will be saved.
It is recommended to test beforehand if the application you want to portabilize is portable, by copying all the files under it "Program Files" folder to another folder. You can use the new folder as the destination folder for your portabilized version.
It´s a useful free application to create portable applications.
